Top 5 News & Magazines Apps on Android in Turkey Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the news and magazines category on the Android platform in Turkey showed diverse performance trends among the top apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $29.9K in mid-January. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant rise to 80K in mid-March. Active users grew steadily, reaching over 11.6M by the end of March.

Bundle Breaking News experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $99 by the end of March. Downloads showed a mixed trend, dropping to around 1.3K in late February but recovering to over 11K in March. Active users saw a peak of over 1M in mid-March before settling at approximately 872K.

Biz Şahinbey'iz had a surge in downloads in late February, peaking at over 42K, though it later stabilized to under 1K by March end. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at nearly 28K in early March.

Mynet Haber - Son Dakika Haber saw a modest increase in revenue, reaching $82 by March. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of over 13K in March. Active users consistently rose, reaching over 432K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, TRT Spor – Canlı Maç ve Haber witnessed a spike in downloads in late January, hitting nearly 30K, but later decreased to under 1K. Active users grew to over 11K in late February but fell to around 4.6K by March end.
